2015-2016 Publicity Awards

Chapters were recognized during the annual convention’s Friday luncheon for the 2015-2016 Publicity Awards. Thirty-six publicity entries were submitted, and approximately 25,000 square inches of newspaper articles were counted.  Winners recognized were:

• First Place: Picketville Chapter, Breckenridge
• Second Place: Caddel-Smith Chapter, Uvalde
• Third Place: William Carroll Crawford Chapter, Center

Honorable mentions with over 1,000 square inches included:

• Joshua D Brown Chapter, Kerrville
• James Bowie Chapter, Texarkana
• Moon-McGehee Chapter, San Marcos
• Clara Driscoll Chapter, Corpus Christi
