The Battle of San Jacinto Symposium

Make plans to attend the annual San Jacinto Symposium on Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 9am to 2pm at the San Jacinto battleground followed by a tour of the grounds.

The schedule includes a panel discussion on Texan and Mexican soldiers, their arms and their battle tactics. Featured scholars and presenters include J.P. Bryan, Greg J. Dimmick, Stephen R. Harden, and Laura McLemore. Following lunch (included in the price of the symposium), an optional battleground tour is available for purchase. Teachers earn six CPE credits for the full day.
