DRT Library Collection at Texas A&M University-San Antonio Update

The DRT Library collection has been completely moved to its new home at the former Federal Reserve Bank Building in downtown San Antonio, where it will once again be available to the public.

A “Memorandum of Understanding” was signed by Dr. Betty Edwards, President General and Dr. Cynthia Teniente-Matson, President of Texas A & M University, San Antonio on November 22, 2016. This document made official the five-year loan of the DRT Library contents to the University. The collection will now be known as the DRT Library Collection at Texas A&M–San Antonio.

We are preparing for a soft opening for researchers in the coming days with a grand opening celebration in the next few months. Stay tuned for more information on the grand opening – we hope everyone will be able to attend!

On a related note, Texas A&M University-San Antonio librarian Stefanie Wittenbach has retired after several years of service. We thank Stefanie for her diligent work over the years and wish her well in her retirement!
